As part of a feasibility study for proposed cable car lines in Tbilisi, STS developed a set of transport-specific evaluation criteria to support decision-making. Five core indicators were defined: projected passenger demand, travel time savings, multimodal connectivity, pedestrian accessibility, and impact on local traffic.
Each alternative route was scored using a standardized matrix to assess its overall performance. The analysis serves both public and private stakeholders in identifying the most viable alignments for future urban cable car infrastructure in the city.
