Sponsored by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), this project is part of Tbilisi’s efforts to modernize its parking management system. The initiative involves comprehensive surveys to evaluate both on-street and off-street parking availability and usage across selected areas in the city.
The project aims to develop a conceptual design for improved parking levy systems and upgraded management of on-street parking. The collected data will help guide policy changes, optimize parking revenue, and enhance urban mobility while considering the unique characteristics of Tbilisi’s urban landscape. Deliverables include detailed maps, a GIS-integrated database, and tailored regulatory and institutional proposals.
